Hi my name is Angela, Owner and Photographer of Annie Brooke Photography. I LOVE Photography and it is my favorite hobby.

I grew up in the south where the beautiful landscapes and things to capture are endless. During my childhood journey, I can always remember bugging my mother to buy me more and more film. My first camera was a small neon green Fuji Camera that used 110 roll film. As a wannabe photographer, I took pictures of everything that moved and subjected my siblings to posing and posing and re-posing, until I again had no more images on my rolls of film. I am sure somewhere I still have boxes of undeveloped film, probably in my parents attic. My love for capturing magical images has grown over the years but came full circle with the birth of my daughter. As most people who love photography, I learned what I know all by shooting and shooting. The only photography classes I took were in high school.  It was there I learned to work with film and how to develop my creations in an old fashioned darkroom. Those were the real days of hard photography. I spent one term in the US Navy and had an awesome new world of images to create. During that tour is when I bought my first digital camera.  It was the best on the market for amateurs, it was a 1 megapixel digital camera. I thought it was the greatest thing. I took pictures everything, and, as long as my camera was busy, I was happy. This camera served me well until I gave birth to my daughter in 2002.  After having my daughter's pictures taken at countless studios, and not being completely satisified with the results, I decided that I could do just as good on my own. I instantly had lots of family and friends as clients. Those contacts lead to new referrals which lead me to create my own business. I love to photograph children, families, newborns, seniors, model portfolio work, and nature.
